How does rust remover spray work?

Rust remover sprays use several effects simultaneously to reduce the tightening of connections caused by rust (iron oxide) on metal surfaces:

   The spray penetrates through very small gaps between screw threads or stuck parts. This is called the "capillary effect."
2. Loosens the rust layer

3. Provides lubrication
   Lubricants in the spray reduce friction. This makes it easier for parts to turn or separate.
4. Displaces moisture
