Is the use of NSF H1 lubricants mandatory in food facilities?

NSF H1 lubricants are critical for equipment with potential food contact. Although not legally mandated in Turkey or most countries, the use of food-grade lubricants is practically considered essential for compliance with HACCP and GMP standards. For parts without food contact risk, NSF H2 or industrial lubricants can be preferred.
